Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and financial reports
• Assist with consolidated reporting and management accounts
• Support balance sheet integrity and cash flow reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external advisors
• Support tax compliance (GST, FBT, payroll tax, income tax) as required
• Maintain strong documentation and workpaper
• Support acquisition accounting and integration work
• Assist with completion accounts and related reporting requirement
• Contribute to system enhancements and finance process improvement
• Partner with operational stakeholders to improve reporting efficiency

About You

• 2–5 years’ strong commercial accounting experience is a plus, but we’re also open to first movers from Big 4 or smaller firms who are eager to take ownership, learn quickly, and grow in a hands-on, high-exposure finance role
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working autonomously in a lean team
• Proactive self starter, curious, and solutions-focused
• Strong communicator who enjoys business partnering
• Culture fit is critical — team-oriented, reliable, and positive
• Your someone who enjoys both structure and change — comfortable owning BAU, but equally excited by process improvement and project work
