Following a period of growth in the Australian market, the organisation is now investing in senior, hands-on commercial leadership to protect and grow its most strategic customer relationships.
About the role
This is a senior individual-contributor role responsible for owning and growing strategic enterprise accounts across Australia and New Zealand, with scope to support broader APAC opportunities over time.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Strategic Account Manager will take full commercial accountability for a portfolio of higher education and research customers, balancing retention, expansion and new logo acquisition.
The role exists to stabilise and grow a critical revenue base, deepen executive-level relationships, and expand the organisation’s footprint across institutions by introducing additional products. You will act as the senior commercial representative in the region, operating with a high degree of autonomy and direct access to senior leadership.
