About the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this six-month maternity leave contract supports the corporate finance team. The role partners with payroll, AP, AR, and external advisors, ensuring accurate month end reporting, reconciliations, and continuity during a busy growth phase.
Duties / Key responsibilities
- Provide support with audit requests and external advisor queries
- Maintain the corporate general ledger and complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare month end journals and assist with management reporting
- Support payroll, AP, and AR processes as required
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Skills and experience - Proven experience in a corporate bookkeeping or assistant accounting role
- Strong understanding of month end processes and reconciliations
- Experience in healthcare, PE backed, or multi entity environments is beneficial
- Confident using accounting systems and Excel
- Able to step in quickly and work with minimal handover
