Daily Rate Contract - 6 months + Extension - Senior Network Engineer 
We are searching for a Senior Network Engineer on an initial 6-month contract with the view of extensions there after. 

This role is looking for a strong technical Network Engineer who is a specialist in Cisco technology (Meraki) first and foremost, but has also touched on different vendors and firewalls (eg. Palo, Fortinet, Checkpoint)

This is hybrid working that can be done either Sydney or Melbourne. Daily rate.

Skills and experience

• Strong background as a senior network engineer within complex environments
• Expert Cisco routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, LAN/WAN)
• Cisco Meraki experience
• Firewall experience across multiple vendors (Cisco, Palo, Check Point, Fortinet)
• Exposure to network security and IAM viewed favourably
• Ability to operate autonomously and within a high-performing network operations team
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills

Duties / Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert Cisco routing and switching support across enterprise environments
• Strengthen network operations across DC, head office and retail sites
• Manage and uplift firewall configurations across multiple vendors
• Contribute to network design, maintenance and continuous improvement
