Allura Partners are delighted to be supporting a highly acquisitive, infrastructure business with their search for a Senior Finance Analyst on a 12 month FTC basis initially. The role will be relatively broad with numerous projects to be designed and executed, along with the general FP&A support. It will report directly to the Head of FP&A.

Please note: Immediately available candidates will only be considered for this opportunity and will ideally have a Big 4 audit/corporate finance background.

Key Responsibilities

• Map current month-end processes and identify bottlenecks, gaps and control weaknesses
• Redesign reconciliations, journals and cut-off procedures to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency
• Implement standardised templates for accruals, prepayments, balance sheet recs and reporting packs
• Review current accounting system setup for coding structure, chart of accounts and automation opportunities
• Clean and restructure chart of accounts to support improved reporting clarity
• Lead data clean-up tasks
• Design and build improved management reporting outputs (departmental P&Ls, cost centre reporting, variance commentary)

Ongoing FP&A Support

• Prepare monthly management reporting packs, including variance analysis and insights for leadership
• Maintain rolling forecasts, cash flow models and scenario planning tools
• Support annual budgeting process, partnering with department leads to gather inputs
• Analyse key business drivers, trends and performance metrics to inform decision-making
• Provide ad hoc commercial analysis (pricing, margin, headcount, project profitability)
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, planning and analytics functions
