About the role

As Lead Engineer, you’ll oversee the design and delivery of scalable backend systems within a cross-functional product team. You’ll help shape the platform’s technical direction while embedding AI practices and strong engineering standards across the team.

Duties/Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery of scalable software solutions
• Set engineering standards and mentor engineers
• Design and maintain APIs and cloud-native applications
• Drive AI adoption in development processes and product features
• Champion testing, observability and operational excellence

Skills and experience

• 7+ years in software engineering within product-led or startup environments
• Experience with AI-enabled engineering practices
• Expertise in .NET services and/or React applications
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with MongoDB, EventSourcing, CQRS and CI/CD pipelines
• Bonus: experience with React Native and full-stack development
