About the role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a broad and hands-on role spanning technical accounting, tax, audit, and controls, while supporting daily operations. You’ll play a key role in a ERP System rollout and in embedding processes across newly acquired businesses. The role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and private equity stakeholders, with a clear progression pathway to Finance Manager.

Duties/Key responsibilities

• Own month-end close, management reporting, reconciliations, and consolidations
• Support tax compliance (BAS, payroll tax, FBT, income tax) and external audits
• Drive ERP transformation and systems integration (NetSuite)
• Partner with finance teams across acquired businesses to embed consistent processes
• Draft and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Deliver ad hoc reporting and support to the Group Financial Controller

Skills and experience

• CA/CPA qualified with 2+ years post-qualification experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge across tax, audit, and compliance
• ERP exposure (NetSuite advantageous), ideally with implementation experience
• Background in Big 4/mid-tier audit or commercial finance in a high-growth environment
• Hands-on, adaptable, solutions-focused, with excellent communication skills
