Infrastructure/ SOE Engineer - Daily Rate Contract 

Join a well-known enterprise organisation to uplift their end-user and server environment, streamline application deployment, and strengthen infrastructure security.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement a new Standard Operating Environment (SOE) across desktops and laptops
• Package, test, and deploy applications using modern enterprise tools
• Optimise and maintain SCCM/MECM and Intune for patching, software delivery, and policy enforcement
• Lead patch management cycles and vulnerability remediation for both endpoint and server infrastructure
• Support infrastructure health by applying system hardening and compliance practices
• Work collaboratively with infrastructure, security, and end-user teams to deliver scalable and secure environments

Key Technologies

• Windows 10/11 and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
• SCCM / MECM
• Microsoft Intune
• Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
• Active Directory & Group Policy
• PowerShell scripting
• Application packaging tools: MSI, App-V, etc.
• Patch management tools and WSUS (desirable)
• Vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Qualys, Nessus – desirable)

About You

• Proven experience in enterprise infrastructure or desktop engineering roles
• Strong background in SOE design, application packaging, and endpoint management
• Solid understanding of patching processes, security baselines, and vulnerability remediation
• Confident with SCCM, Intune, PowerShell, and Active Directory
• Comfortable supporting both desktop and server environments
• Effective communicator with a collaborative, security-minded approach
