About the role

This newly created Senior Data Governance position reports directly to the Head of Data. You’ll be responsible for shaping and embedding a robust data governance framework across the organisation. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, ICT, and the Enterprise Data Council to uplift data quality, drive literacy, and enhance visibility through effective documentation and tools.

Skills and experience

• 4+ years in data governance, data quality, or enterprise data management.
• Experience implementing governance frameworks and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of metadata, data lineage, and business glossary tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or other data governance platforms
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement. experience across business and IT.
• A passion for continuous improvement and embedding best practice across data processes.
• Must be Sydney based and have PR/Australian citizenship.
