About the role

This is a 12-month contract opportunity for an experienced Tech Lead with strong Fullstack experience in React, Next.js, Java + Cloud (AWS preferred).

Skills and experience

• Demonstrated success in leading technical teams within Agile environments, applying strong analytical and critical thinking to solve complex strategic technical challenges.
• Excellent communicator, skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Over 5 years’ experience in technical roles delivering digital solutions within large-scale, complex environments.
• Full-stack development expertise, including technologies such as Next.js, React, Java and Springboot.
• Proficient in containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes; experienced in API development and integration across platforms such as web, mobile apps, and chatbots.
• Strong knowledge of design and integration patterns, with hands-on experience in microservices architecture.
• Proven ability to work with customer-facing technologies that drive user experience.
• Must be based in Sydney and have full working rights for 2+ years.
