Day Rate Contract - Azure Infrastructure Engineer - 6 month initial - Sydney - $900-1000 a day

We are searching for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer for a Day rate contract in Sydney. The successful candidate will be working on an enterprise cloud platform in the retail industry. 

This is a 6 month initial contract with scope for extension.  
 
Responsibilities: 

• Azure Compute: Deploy and manage VMs, VMSS, and Azure Functions for scalable compute resources
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Use ARM Templates, Bicep, and Terraform for automated deployments.
• Identity & Access, scaling, monitoring and Load Balancing..
• Backup & DR: Set up Azure Backup and disaster recovery.
• Kubernetes: Deploy and manage containers with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Storage: Configure Azure Blob Storage, Disk Storage, and Azure Files for scalable storage.
• CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
