We are seeking an Administration Clerk - Urgent Care/Medical Imaging to work in a Part Time (24 hours/fortnight) capacity based at Nhill.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Administration Clerk in Urgent Care/Medical Imaging Departments is responsible for a variety of tasks related to patient reception, appointment scheduling, and administration support.
This role ensures the smooth operation of both departments by providing essential administrative services to the radiologists, specialists and consumers.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential:
Have good communication and organisational skills.
Have previous experience dealing with public ideally in a receptionist role.
The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and maintain accurate records.
Have the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable:
Have experience with computerised patient management systems and data entry and Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
Are familiar with medical terminology and procedures is beneficial.
PRE-REQUISITES:
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Working with Children Check.
Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
Australian Driver’s License.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
Greeting and registering consumers, processing referrals, and managing patient flow in both the Urgent Care Centre and Medical Imaging departments.
Scheduling appointments for various medical imaging procedures, ensuring accurate scheduling and providing necessary preparation instructions to the consumer.
Entering consumer information into relevant systems, maintaining accurate records, and generating reports as required.
Are responsible for processing invoices for the medical imaging department services provided to private patients, Medicare and Department of Veteran Affairs.
