We are seeking a Registered Nurse Grade 2 to work in a casual capacity based at Rupanyup.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Registered Nurse Grade 2 (RN) provides evidence-based nursing care to people of all ages and cultural groups, including individuals, families and communities and provides care in a range of settings that may include acute, residential aged care and community.
The role of the RN is to demonstrate the core nursing values of patient centred care, trust and respect in every interaction with patients, carers and colleagues. As an RN you are accountable for establishing and evaluating the patients/residents care plans in partnership with the patient/resident, their carer and other members of the healthcare team.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential:
Effective communication and organisational skills.
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Bachelor of Nursing Certificate.
Excellent understanding of National Health Care Standards (acute and community care facilities).
Excellent understanding of iCare, ACFI and Aged Care Quality Standards (aged care facilities).
Pre-Requisites:
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Working with Children Check
Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
Australian Driver’s Licence.
