Are you our new Finance Officer?
- Based in Nhill.
- Full Time (Fixed Term (12 months), maternity leave position - possibility to extend)
- Classification: HS2 or dependent on experience and qualifications
ABOUT THE ROLE...The Finance Officer is a key part of the Finance & Administration team, supporting accurate, timely and efficient financial operations. The role contributes to essential functions such as processing transactions, maintaining financial records, completing reconciliations and assisting with routine reporting and compliance activities.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, the Finance Officer
provides responsive financial support, ensures data accuracy and upholds
confidentiality and governance standards. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound communication skills and the ability to follow established financial processes effectively.

accounting or financial management. Exposure to financial systems, budgeting
cycles and audit requirements provides meaningful development opportunities,

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Effective communication, strong time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
- Previous experience working in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, finance related or community health related position or field.
- Computer literacy skills and proficiency in Microsoft suit of programs
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable, but not essential: - Working towards Qualification (Certificate or above) in Finance, Administration or equivalent field.
- Experience with Oracle, Uniti, NDIS, TAC, Banking platforms and other health care related activity and billing platforms
PRE-REQUISITES: - NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Working with Children Check.
- Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
- Australian Driver’s License
