We are seeking a Support Worker Supervisor to join our Community Health team in Nhill! This is a full time (80 hours/fortnight including Accrued Days Off), ongoing role.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Support Worker Supervisor will...

• Manage the overall operation of Support Workers across all sites, including day to day management.
• Ensure clients are receiving high quality services.
• Assist with recruitment of new staff and staff onboarding processes.
• Be the first point of contact to assist with any enquires that Support Worker staff may have.
• Maintain up-to-date records of mandatory education with Support Worker and Social Support staff.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Essential:

• Effective communication and organisational skills
• Relevant qualification (Management, Cert III or higher in Aged Care/ Disability field) and/or experience in Community Health.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. clients and families, community members, or other staff, management and external providers).
• Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Standards.

PREREQUISITES:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
• Australian Driver’s License
