We are seeking a Support Worker Supervisor to join our Community Health team in Nhill! This is a full time, ongoing role.
ABOUT THE ROLE: The Support Worker Supervisor will...
Manage the overall operation of Support Workers across all sites, including day to day management.
Ensure clients are receiving high quality services.
Assist with recruitment of new staff and staff onboarding processes.
Be the first point of contact to assist with any enquires that Support Worker staff may have.
Maintain up-to-date records of mandatory education with Support Worker and Social Support staff.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: Essential:
Effective communication and organisational skills
Relevant qualification (Management, Cert III or higher in Aged Care/ Disability field) and/or experience in Community Health.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. clients and families, community members, or other staff, management and external providers).
Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Standards.
PREREQUISITES:
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Working with Children Check
Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
Australian Driver’s License
