We are seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in Rainbow in a full time or part time capacity!

West Wimmera Health Service provides high-quality hospital care, residential aged care, disability services and community health facilities to more than 22,000 people in the West Wimmera region.


RELOCATION INCENTIVE AND RETENTION BONUSES FOR AGED CARE WORKERS...

• Aged care workers are eligible to receive a one-off payment of up to $16,500 to cover immediate and direct costs associated with permanently relocating to rural and remote areas within Australia!
• To be eligible for this incentive payment, the employee must relocate
  from a metropolitan or regional area (MM 1-3) to a MM 4-7 location and work for your rural or remote aged care service for a minimum of two years. Our Rainbow site is defined as an MMM6 location.
• The employee may also be eligible to receive an annual retention
  bonus for 2 years following relocation and permanent employment
  with your rural or remote aged care service.

ABOUT THE ROLE/S:

• The Associate Nurse Unit Manager/Registered Nurse is to work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing/Nurse Unit Manager of the facility. They work with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate and foster the provision of best practice standards of nursing care to the patients/residents, their families and carers.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Essential:

• Effective communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a variety of complex situations.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical care.
• Have an excellent understanding of iCare, ACFI and the Aged Care Quality Standards (aged care facilities).
• Have an excellent understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (acute facilities.
• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
