Are you a hands-on Quality Manager with a passion for automotive pressings and manufacturing excellence? We’re working with a leading first and second tier supplier in the automotive sector, offering you the chance to shape quality standards in a dynamic, high-precision environment.

The Opportunity:
You’ll lead and develop established quality teams across two Coventry sites, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The focus is on maintaining and enhancing quality standards to IATF 16949, supporting the delivery of complex pressed and assembled components to major automotive clients.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ideally qualified as an IATF Lead Auditor.
• Strong background in automotive pressings or similar high-volume, precision manufacturing.
• Consideration given to candidates currently working as a Quality Manager in automotive, who can clearly demonstrate robust knowledge of IATF 16949—even if not formally qualified.
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing quality teams.
• Hands-on approach—comfortable being present on the shop floor and collaborating with production and leadership.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor quality teams across two sites, ensuring full compliance with IATF 16949.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice in quality systems and processes.
• Act as the main point of contact for all quality-related matters, both internally and externally.
• Work closely with senior leadership and production teams to ensure delivery of high-quality, complex pressed assemblies.
• Maintain a proactive, visible presence on the shop floor.

Package & Benefits:

• Salary £50,000 – £70,000 (DOE & qualifications)
• Monday to Friday, multi-site (Coventry-based)
• On-site role; company car is not included

This is not a remote position. Only candidates from an automotive background, with proven experience as a Quality Manager and strong knowledge of IATF 16949, will be considered.
