Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Milling Setter/Operator to join our client’s precision engineering team in CV7. You’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines (Heidenhain controls) to produce quality components to specification.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Heidenhain controls)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspections
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards and within deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Milling Setter/Operator
• Experience working with Heidenhain controls (please confirm if you have experience with Hurco or other systems)
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Working Hours:

• Day Shift: 39 hours per week
  • Option 1: 07:30 – 16:30
  • Option 2: 06:00 – 15:00

Breaks:

• First break: 15 minutes (paid)
• Lunch: 30 minutes (unpaid)

Overtime:

• Overtime available after probation (rate to be discussed, typically paid at x1.5)
