Stackrock Talent is leading a search for a Program Manager with a growing defense and advanced manufacturing business in Fort Worth, TX.
 
Our client is scaling a U.S. manufacturing operation and this is the person who will own delivery of a critical defense program end-to-end. You'll be the primary customer interface and the single point of accountability for cost, schedule, quality, and delivery, coordinating execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations. This is a delivery-ownership seat in a build-and-scale environment, not a status-reporting one, backed by an established global manufacturing group.

You own outcomes, not activities. You drive execution across functions you don't directly control through influence, credibility, and pragmatic decision-making rather than escalation. You stay effective when priorities shift, requirements evolve, and risks surface mid-execution, and you keep delivery moving anyway.
You build trust with demanding customers, challenge assumptions when commitments are at risk, and navigate complexity without burying your team in process. You see the whole system - customer requirements, engineering, manufacturing readiness, supply chain, and financial outcomes - not just the project schedule.
You're not a coordinator looking to maintain a plan and report status. You're a delivery leader who wants to own the result.
 
What you bring

• Proven track record leading complex defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial programs
• Accountability for cost, schedule, quality, and delivery performance on customer-facing, contractual programs
• Experience as the primary customer interface including managing difficult customer conversations
• Coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations
• Strong grounding in risk management, program governance, and change management
• Understanding of production planning and manufacturing / operational delivery
• Budget management, forecasting, and commercial decision-making
• ERP, scheduling, and project management systems
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Project Management, or a related field
• Background in a regulated manufacturing environment like aerospace, defense, automotive, or high-spec industrial (defense program exposure ideal, not required)
• Must be a U.S. Person (per ITAR requirements)
