Join our client's team as a Payroll Coordinator on a 6 month temporary assignment with the opportunity to be hired full-time.

Role Summary:
Assists in the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll for over 1,000 employees.
Ensures employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; reviews changes for proper authorization and adherence to APA policy including compliance with federal/state/local regulations.
Review time sheets to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies, including vacation and PTO.
Partner with Payroll Manager on questions from the organization.
Adhere to strict confidentiality for all employee information.
Supports Payroll team with and/or completes check runs and reporting.
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience in payroll processing, either through employment or internship.
Ability to proactively problem-solve through critical thinking and analysis.
Thrive in a fast-moving, changing environment.
Detailed and accountable.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations and information with professionalism.
