Job Summary:

Ground Works Land Design is seeking an experienced Landscape Crew Member to become part of our growing company. This candidate will be a skilled laborer, who can support the Landscape Foreman with landscaping projects and maintaining client properties. Landscape Crew Member -> Landscape Technician / Apprentice -> Landscape Foreman -> Production Manager or Project Manager

Pay Ranges from $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

*REQUIRED* Valid Driver’s license with minimal incidents or points in the last 3 years

Duties/Responsibilities

• On-Call for snow removal during winter hours
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscape projects, including planting, mulching, lawn renovations, and fall/spring cleanup
• Operate various types of equipment and tools, such as track loaders, mini track loaders, and leaf blowers etc..
• Load and unload materials and supplies from trucks and trailers
• Communicate effectively with Landscape Foreman and further leadership, to ensure smooth project execution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

• 1 or more years’ experience in Landscape industry or construction
• Able to work successfully with limited supervision
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders for periods of time
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors and in noisy areas for extended periods of time
