Senior Technology Project / Program Lead Sydney | 2 Positions | 7-Month Contract

About the Opportunity Advance Thinking is seeking two experienced Senior Technology Project / Program Leads to join one of our key enterprise clients and lead the delivery of complex technology initiatives.

This is a senior delivery role for experienced professionals who can operate confidently across technology, business, vendors and executive stakeholders, while maintaining strong control over delivery, financials, governance, risk and outcomes.

You'll take ownership of complex initiatives, bring structure and direction to delivery, and build strong partnerships across multidisciplinary teams and third-party providers.

The Role You'll provide end-to-end leadership across complex technology programs and projects, ensuring delivery remains aligned to agreed business outcomes, priorities, budgets and timelines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead complex technology programs and projects from planning through to implementation.
• Establish clear delivery plans, milestones, governance and accountability.
• Drive delivery against agreed business outcomes, priorities and timelines.
• Build trusted relationships with senior business, technology and executive stakeholders.
• Manage project and program budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Identify and actively manage risks, issues, dependencies and delivery constraints.
• Manage external vendors, suppliers and third-party delivery partners.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across business and technology.
• Develop and execute effective stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
• Monitor delivery and supplier performance against agreed outcomes and service levels.
• Analyse operational and financial information to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and more effective delivery.
• Provide clear and meaningful reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums.

What We're Looking For We're looking for experienced technology delivery leaders who can take ownership of complex initiatives and operate effectively within large enterprise environments.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Significant technology project and/or program management experience.
• A strong track record delivering complex enterprise technology initiatives.
• Excellent executive and senior stakeholder engagement capability.
• Strong financial, budget and commercial management experience.
• Demonstrated vendor and third-party management experience.
• Strong governance, risk, issue and dependency management disciplines.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Ability to operate across both business and technology environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Excellent written, verbal and executive communication skills.

Previous experience within General Insurance would be highly regarded.
Consulting experience and exposure to process or continuous improvement initiatives would also be advantageous.
