The ServiceNow CMDB Analyst role reports directly into the ServiceNow Platform Lead. As a member of the platform operations team, you will be assigned to the newly implemented ITOM stack with a focus on driving operational excellence and strategic alignment. You'll be the go-to expert for Discovery and Service Mapping, ensuring their configuration data is accurate, complete, and truly service-aware.
  
What You'll Be Working On:

• Owning the health of Discovery and Service Mapping: troubleshoot patterns, fix identification/reconciliation rules, and ensure the "vertical" map is accurate
• Contributing to defining a CSDM 5.0 data model that meets current standards, including mapping Business Applications to Service Instances and defining relationships between Technology Management Services and Offerings
• Implementing Service Graph Connectors and automation to move away from manual CI management towards a "Zero-Touch" CMDB environment
• Building out the Service Consumption layer, ensuring technical infrastructure is correctly linked to Service Offerings and Business Outcomes
• Working with stakeholders to define their applications and services to the agreed model
• Creating governance frameworks, Performance Analytics dashboards, CMDB Health dashboards, and documentation for handover to the op's team

What You Bring to the Role:
  
Essential:

• Deep CSDM 5.0 knowledge, including understanding the 2025/2026 updates and the evolution of the Technical Service domain into Technology Management Services
• Advanced ITOM skills with expert-level configuration of Horizontal Discovery and Top-Down Service Mapping
• Proven experience with Service Graph Connector framework (beyond legacy integrations)
• 3-5 years hands-on experience supporting or administering ServiceNow CMDB in an enterprise environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience building CMDB data quality dashboards and governance frameworks

Highly Regarded:

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, or relevant ITOM specialisations)
