Enrich Group is a values-led organisation committed to creating positive outcomes for the people and communities it serves. With people at the heart of its approach, Enrich Group delivers person-driven services focused on education, support and enabling individuals to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring Enrich Group has the financial insight, governance and commercial discipline required to support sound decision-making, organisational sustainability and the achievement of its strategic objectives.
This is much more than a traditional finance role. You will work closely with the CEO, Board and Leadership Team, providing strategic advice and translating financial information into clear commercial insights that support organisational performance, investment decisions and future opportunities.
The role
You will take responsibility for the organisation's financial management and provide leadership across budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, treasury, risk, insurance and financial governance. You will also support the assessment of business growth, diversification and service development opportunities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering meaningful financial analysis, insights and recommendations and strategic financial advice to the Board, CEO and Leadership Team
- Leading annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Maintaining strong financial controls, governance and statutory compliance
- Overseeing cash flow, investments, borrowing, funding arrangements and treasury activities
- Supporting contract pricing, funding applications and service costing
- Managing external audit processes and relationships with banking and financial institutions
- Overseeing organisational insurance and financial risk
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen systems, processes, controls and organisational effectiveness
- Leading, developing and supporting the finance team through a positive and accountable leadership approach.
About you
You will be a commercially astute and strategically minded finance leader who can operate comfortably at both executive and operational levels. Importantly, you will be able to take complex financial information and turn it into clear insights that help others make better decisions.
To be successful, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in finance or accounting
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
- Proven people leadership experience
- Experience leading organisational change, including new systems, processes or ways of working
- Strong analytical and financial reporting capability
- The ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively at Board level
- Sound commercial judgement and strong problem-solving capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An adaptable, collaborative and approachable leadership style
What’s in it for you?
This is an opportunity for an accomplished finance professional to step into a genuinely broad leadership position where your contribution extends beyond the numbers.
You will have the opportunity to influence strategy, strengthen financial and organisational capability, support future opportunities and work alongside senior leaders to help Enrich Group deliver sustainable outcomes.
