This is a rare opportunity to lead an established People & Capability function in a values-driven organisation while enjoying the flexibility of a four-day working week. Based in South Waikato, this role leads the People & Capability function, providing strategic direction and organisational support across recruitment, employment relations, organisational development, performance, learning, wellbeing, and compliance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary People & Capability team.
- Partner with executive and operational leaders to strengthen organisational capability and performance.
- Drive people strategy, culture, organisational development, and change initiatives.
- Provide expert advice across employee relations, employment law, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Champion a positive, engaged and high-performing workplace culture.
What We're Looking For - Senior-level HR leadership experience, ideally gained within a medium to large organisation.
- Strong understanding of employment relations, HR best practice, and legislative compliance.
- Experience leading organisational change, capability development, and culture initiatives.
- A collaborative, influential leadership style and the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
- A genuine commitment to working effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
