This Company Accountant role offers the opportunity to take ownership of month-end, partner closely with the CFO, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and business decisions.  You’ll work across reporting, tax, and analysis while engaging with stakeholders throughout the business, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and making an immediate impact.

Key responsibilities

• Month-end close including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Balance sheet integrity and fixed asset management
• GST returns and international tax/VAT support
• Budgeting and forecasting support with senior stakeholders
• Year-end financial and tax preparation
• Payroll back-up and commission calculations
• Financial analysis and ad hoc reporting

What we’re looking for

• Robust accounting experience in a commercial environment
• Strong reconciliations, reporting, and tax exposure
• Solid Excel capability and confidence working with data
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to operate both independently and as part of a wider
• Effective communicator with the ability to engage across the business

Nice to have

• CA/CPA (or working towards)
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
