Lead administration. Drive systems. Keep projects moving.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business & Administration Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operational flow of a growing, fast-paced business. This is a pivotal role where you will sit at the centre of the organisation, ensuring projects, systems, financial administration, procurement, and internal operations run smoothly from end to end.
If you thrive in a hands-on environment, enjoy variety in your day, and can confidently move between operational coordination and financial administration, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
The Opportunity:
This position is responsible for overseeing operational execution across the business, ensuring projects transition seamlessly from acceptance through to completion. You will work closely with management, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain strong workflow coordination, visibility, and accountability across all operations and financial administration.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Operational & Project Coordination:
- Manage operational workflow from project acceptance through to completion
- Ensure materials, procurement, manufacturing, and dispatch are coordinated effectively
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues before they escalate
- Maintain accurate documentation, systems, and reporting
Procurement & Inventory: - Oversee purchasing and supplier coordination
- Manage inventory and assembly tracking
- Ensure procurement systems and processes remain efficient and organised
Financial Administration: - Manage creditor accounts, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Process payroll and support financial reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and management accounts
HR & Systems: - Maintain employee records and onboarding processes
- Support internal systems, workflows, and process improvements
- Identify inefficiencies and drive operational improvements
About You: You are someone who is calm, grounded and decidedly not precious and:
- Is highly organised, methodical, and detail-focused
- Takes ownership and can manage multiple moving parts
- Is proactive, solutions-focused, and adaptable
- Brings experience in operations coordination or management
- Has a strong background in financial administration and reporting
- Understands payroll, procurement, or inventory systems
- Experience in project-based environments (e.g. construction, manufacturing, engineering, logistics) would be an advantage
If you’re motivated by business growth, complex commercial environments, and the chance to support commercially savvy business owners, this role will genuinely stretch you.
