About the role:
This is a key leadership role where you’ll take full ownership of the commercial and contractual relationship between Alexander Group and Rockgas. As the primary point of contact, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of this contract, proactively managing performance, and driving strategic, data-led solutions that add value for both parties.
This role is about more than just operational oversight—you’ll be leading commercial discussions, negotiating contract variations, and ensuring that Alexander Group consistently meets its financial and service-level commitments. With a strong focus on customer engagement, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of this partnership, identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and long-term growth.
About you:
You’re a commercially savvy leader with a deep understanding of contract management and operational delivery. You’re comfortable managing high-value contracts, navigating complex stakeholder relationships, and influencing at all levels to drive exceptional outcomes. You’ll also bring:
- Strong relationship management skills - you know how to build trust and foster long-term partnerships.
- Commercial acumen - A proven track record in contract negotiation, financial performance management, and strategic planning.
- The ability to translate operational data into meaningful commercial insights and recommendations.
- A solutions-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and value creation.
- A strong understanding of transport, fleet management, scheduling, and compliance (bonus points if you’ve worked with dangerous goods before!).
