The Opportunity
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll take ownership of the finance function while partnering with key stakeholders across the business to support growth, performance and decision-making.
This role combines hands-on financial management with commercial insight, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both detail and big-picture thinking.
You'll be trusted to drive outcomes, improve processes, provide strategic financial guidance, and contribute to the continued success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Reporting - Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management reporting
- Analyse financial performance and provide commercial insights
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow activities
- Oversee end-of-month and year-end processes
- Support executive decision-making through financial analysis
Business Partnering & Strategy - Collaborate with leadership on business planning initiatives
- Identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement
- Provide meaningful reporting and recommendations to stakeholders
- Assist with strategic projects and business growth initiatives
- Contribute to long-term financial planning
Governance & Compliance - Ensure compliance with relevant financial, taxation and regulatory obligations
- Manage statutory reporting requirements
- Maintain strong financial controls and processes
- Support external advisors and audit requirements
What You'll Bring - Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CPA or CA qualification (or nearing completion)
- Approximately 3–4 years' experience in a senior accounting, management accounting or finance role
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
- Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- A proactive mindset and desire to contribute beyond traditional accounting responsibilities
