This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the commercial department as the business grows working closely with the Commercial Director.
 
About your new role:

Due to continued growth plans our client is seeking a Groundworks & Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial department in producing tenders for commercial & residential groundworks services.

Key Responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor:

• Monitoring and reviewing project cashflows
• Monthly CVR's
• Procurement
• Final account settlement
• Client meetings 
• Preparation of tender quotations for foundations, roads and sewers s278 works, drainage and structures.
• Take offs and bill of quantity production
• Producing final tender document for submission to clients

• A minimum of 5-6 years experience as an Quantity Surveyor for a Groundworks & Civil Engineering contractor.
• Proficient computer skills particularly in Microsoft Excel
• Possess good skills with numbers and strong mathematical ability
• Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully
• Good negotiation and management skills
• Extremely high level of confidentiality and discretion
• Understand the importance of establishing and maintaining positive client relationships.
