Role: Credit Controller 
Location: Liverpool Street, Central London, EC2M
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

Role overview:

This a great opportunity to join a thriving construction business in Central London who has grown from strength to strength over the last couple of years.

In turn, they they now seeking a Credit Controller to support the finance / accounts department.

Duties to include:

• Responsible for £3-4m ledger
• Ledger to be chased weekly
• Problematic jobs to be prioritised and dealt with using commercial contacts help
• Raising retention invoices
• Raising invoices based on payment certificates
• ⁠Raising month end billing
• ⁠Checking and maintaining PO balances not exceeded
• ⁠Regular reporting to Directors

• A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a credit controller role with a construction business.
• Proven bookkeeping and credit control experience, ideally within the construction.
• Strong communication skills
• Team player
• Knowledge of XERO / SAGE / VAT / CIS Scheme
• Proficient in MS Office / Excel
