CW Products is in an exciting phase of growth and is looking for a capable, commercially minded finance professional to lead its financial operations, support business performance and guide an established Finance Team.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to an established Australian manufacturer, working closely with the Managing Director and broader leadership team.
Whether you are already an experienced finance leader or ready to step into a broader management role, we are interested in the skills, experience and potential you can bring.
About the Opportunity
CW Products is seeking a Senior Finance Manager who combines strong technical accounting capability with a practical, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in developing others.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and contributing to the Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee the finance function, provide reliable financial reporting and commercial advice, and help ensure the business has the financial information and controls needed to support continued growth.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you will be equally comfortable working through financial detail, supporting your team, and contributing to broader business discussions.
An important part of the role will be leading and supporting an established Finance Team, fostering collaboration, sharing expertise and building on existing strengths as the business continues to grow.
Based in Murray Bridge, the role offers some flexibility for the right person.
About the Role
Working closely with the Managing Director, National Operations Manager and National Sales Manager, you will support the financial performance of CW Products while ensuring the day-to-day finance function operates effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial operations, including management reporting, month-end and year-end processes, compliance and financial controls.
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital management, providing meaningful analysis to support business decisions.
- Partner with operational and commercial leaders to improve financial performance, pricing, margins, inventory management and profitability.
- Provide practical financial advice and reporting to the Managing Director, Senior Leadership Team and Advisory Board as required.
- Lead, coach and develop the Finance Team, strengthening individual capability, collaboration and accountability, and helping the team to grow with the business.
- Work alongside the team to resolve financial and operational issues, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, reporting, processes and controls.
The role offers a valuable balance of operational responsibility, commercial involvement and people leadership, with the opportunity to contribute to how the finance function evolves alongside the business.
What We're Looking For We are looking for a capable finance professional who enjoys solving problems, working with people and contributing to business success.
You may already be an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller, or perhaps you are a Senior Accountant or Management Accountant who has developed strong technical skills and is ready to take the next step into a broader finance leadership role.
What matters most is having strong, proven technical accounting expertise and the confidence to take responsibility for the financial operations of the business. You will be comfortable working through the detail when needed, while equally motivated to share your knowledge, coach and develop others, and progressively focus on broader financial leadership and commercial contributions as the business grows.
Ideally, you will bring: - Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Commerce, with CA or CPA accreditation.
- Strong accounting and financial reporting skills, including experience across budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial controls and compliance.
- Sound commercial awareness and the ability to interpret financial information and provide practical advice.
- Experience leading, mentoring or supporting colleagues, or demonstrated potential and enthusiasm to develop your people leadership capability.
- Confidence working with financial systems, spreadsheets and reporting tools, with an interest in improving processes and efficiencies.
- A collaborative, approachable and solutions-focused style, with a willingness to be hands-on and support the team.
Experience in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution or an inventory-intensive environment will be highly regarded, although it is not essential.
Above all, we value someone who brings initiative, sound judgement, a team-first mindset and a genuine desire to make a positive contribution.
Why CW Products? This is an opportunity to join a successful, Australian-owned business where your contribution will be valued, and the impact of your work will be visible.
You will enjoy: - Direct access to the Managing Director and the opportunity to contribute to business decisions.
- The opportunity to lead and develop an established Finance Team.
- A broad and varied finance role that combines practical involvement with commercial exposure.
- A supportive, collaborative environment that values ideas, initiative and continuous improvement.
- A dynamic, LEAN-based business committed to improving its people, processes and performance.
- Opportunities to further develop your leadership and commercial capabilities as the business continues to grow.
- Competitive remuneration reflective of your experience and the contribution you can bring.
- Some flexibility in working arrangements and a Murray Bridge location with on-site parking.
