About the Opportunity: The Financial Adviser is responsible for providing clients with a financial service that allows them to meet their financial and lifestyle needs. This role will have established relationships with clients and stakeholders, allowing them to deliver a high-quality level of service.
The Financial Adviser will display a commitment to learning and development and the firm's vision and culture. The role includes servicing existing clients within the business while also expanding the organisation's client base.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Services: - Develop strategies and portfolios for clients.
- Prepare and review Statements of Advice and Records of Further Advice.
- Review compliance documents before client meetings.
- Communicate research and investment data to clients.
- Introduce new clients to the organisation.
Client Management & Relationships: - Engage with clients professionally and courteously.
- Maintain regular client contact and build strong relationships.
- Understand clients' businesses and their commercial environment.
- Follow through on commitments and meet client expectations.
- Keep the team informed of any client-related issues.
- Provide solutions to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase income.
- Identify opportunities for additional client services.
Productivity Management: - Keep accurate records and daily timesheets.
- Achieve productivity targets.
- Manage tasks effectively and complete them on time.
- Understand what is chargeable to the client and deliver excellent service.
- Participate in meetings and complete assigned action points.
- Achieve business KPIs and pursue professional development.
- Learn about the firm's products and services.
To be successful in this role you will have: - A minimum of 4-5 years' experience working in a financial services firm.
- Completed the minimum education standard and is FASEA accredited.
- Proficient skills in operating software programs used by the firm.
- Proficient MS Office skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Developing understanding of business and commercial acumen.
- Developing understanding of any technical issues, such as changes to legislation or changes in reporting requirements.
- Skilled at meeting set deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to dealing with issues.
