We are now seeking a proactive and detail-driven Payroll Officer to join their team. This role sits at the heart of their operations and plays a crucial role in keeping the business running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: - Processing the full end to end payroll cycle.
- Working with rostering and timesheet information to ensure accurate pay outcomes.
- Reading, understanding and interpreting Awards with confidence, and ensuring compliance across the business.
- Responding to all payroll questions and queries in a clear, friendly and respectful manner.
- Maintaining employee records and processing any required employee changes efficiently and effectively.
- Assisting in the preparation of payroll reports and supporting employees and leaders with payroll queries.
To be successful in this role you will have: - Previous demonstrated end to end payroll experience.
- Confidence working with rostering and timesheet data.
- A solid understanding of Awards and the ability to interpret & communicate confidently and accurately.
- Experience using payroll systems.
- Clear and professional communication with all employees and leaders across the business.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to handle and work with confidential information.
- A hardworking and organised approach to managing deadlines.
- A friendly and presentable nature that builds trust across the business.
- A genuine desire to grow and learn.
