About the Opportunity:
As part of CITB's new Three-Year Training Plan, this role has been created to lead and enhance early engagement and education pathways into the construction industry.
The Lead, Education Pathways will coordinate programs that inspire school students, emerging entrants and educators to explore construction careers. While you will bring a strategic mindset, this is a hands-on operational role, overseeing program delivery, stakeholder relationships, and a small support team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about building strong foundations for South Australia's future workforce through education and early talent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the delivery of school and education-based initiatives that support attraction into construction careers.
- Manage, coach and support a small operational team to achieve program outcomes.
- Collaborate with schools, colleges, technical colleges and career advisors across the state.
- Monitor program performance, budgets, data and compliance with education funding requirements.
- Support audits, reporting, evaluation and opportunities for program improvement.
- Contribute to future program design through data insights, stakeholder feedback and sector monitoring.
To be successful in this role you will have: - Tertiary qualification in education, training, business or a related field.
- Proven experience in education program delivery, preferably within the VET or school pathways environment.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to engage schools and educational networks.
- Leadership capability and a commitment to coaching and professional development of team members.
- Experience with compliance, reporting or quality frameworks.
- Excellent communication, planning and time management skills in a dynamic environment.
- A practical, outcomes-focused mindset with genuine passion for building future career pathways.
