About the Opportunity: As part of CITB’s new Three-Year Training Plan, this newly created leadership role will focus on the quality and delivery of funded training initiatives across South Australia.
The
Lead, Training Pathways will oversee the operational delivery of training initiatives, ensure compliance against funding and quality standards, manage key RTO relationships and lead a small team. This role is for someone who understands the vocational training landscape and enjoys driving outcomes that uplift industry capability.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone experienced in VET delivery, compliance and stakeholder engagement who wants to contribute to South Australia’s skilled workforce pipeline.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the delivery and coordination and implementation of initiatives and funding programs that support workforce development and industry capability uplift.
- Manage, coach and support a small delivery team to meet program performance targets.
- Partner with RTOs, GTOs and employers to ensure quality delivery and outcomes.
- Monitor performance, budgets, reporting and compliance under VET standards.
- Support audits, contract management, risk assessment and continuous improvement.
- Use data insights to inform planning, reporting and strategic development.
To be successful in this role you will have: - Tertiary qualification in education, training, business or equivalent.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) or auditing credential.
- Strong experience in the VET sector, ideally with RTO, GTO or training delivery exposure.
- Proven leadership capability with experience developing and guiding teams.
- Demonstrated understanding of compliance, quality assurance and regulatory frameworks.
- Financial and reporting acumen with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to prioritise, solve problems and deliver in a dynamic environment.
