What you will be doing and will be responsible for: AGC are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Finance Officer to join the team. You will be responsible for supporting the CFO in areas including accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial end of month processes. The role will also support finance administration tasks across the business and particularly as they relate to the finance function and office administration.
Key Responsibilities: - Accounts Payable/Receivable administration
- Delivering end of month finances error free and on time
- The reconciliation and collection of debtors such that debts are collected with a timely manner
- Timely and accurate creditor invoice entry
- Assisting the financial end of month process and reconciliations
- Management of Finance Assistant in their role and day to day tasks to meet the weekly finance requirements
- Other administration tasks in particular as they relate to the finance function
What you look like’ and need to demonstrate to be successful’. - Accounts payable / accounts receivable prior experience
- Ability to meet deadlines and achieve team and company goals
- Excellent time management skills
- High level of customer focus
- Professional personal presentation
- Sound understanding of MS Office Suite and Xero. Work Guru experience viewed favourably but not essential
- Able to work autonomously
- Sound understanding of financial processes and principles, accounts receivable, accounts payable and end of month processes
- Honest and able to deal with matters confidentially
- Reliable and dependable team player
