Reporting to the Associate Director, dmca advisory are seeking a natural communicator who can create lasting client relationships while contributing innovative ideas to strengthen their established service offerings. The successful candidate will play a key role in redefining client service in Financial Planning through their collaborative approach and problem-solving mindset.
Understanding that life isn't one-size-fits-all, the position is offered as either full-time or 0.8 FTE with school-friendly hours. dmca advisory is committed to finding the right balance for the right person.

Key Responsibility Areas:
Administration:
- Provide comprehensive administration support for clients and advisers, covering tasks like scheduling, invoicing, fee tracking, debtor management, database maintenance, liaising with clients and advice implementation.
- Assist advisers in compliance management, including tasks related to Fee Disclosure Statements (FDS) and Ongoing Review Service documents.
Client Service:
- Interact with clients to assist with advice implementation
- Address general client queries on various financial advice areas, including investments, insurance, superannuation, and retirement planning.
Assist with Financial Planning Advice Delivery and Ongoing Service:
- Proactively support the team in delivering advice aligned with client goals.
- Assist with advice implementation, including document preparation, investment coordination, file management, and follow-ups.
- Contribute to ongoing service activities, performing pre-review checks, updating client information in Xplan, and assisting Financial Advisers in addressing outcomes from review meetings.
Business Development:
- Assist Financial Advisers in preparing for marketing and seminar activities.
- Proactively follow up on new client leads and referrals as requested.
To be successful in this role you will have: Essential
- Minimum of 2 years professional services experience in a Client Service Officer or similar role;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Proficient with use of Office 365 suite of products;
- Experience dealing with clients in person, over the telephone and online.
Desirable
- Proficient with Xplan or similar financial planning software.
- Exposure to financial services administration processes including booking meetings, assisting with review preparations and implementations.
