About the position:
Generally, the roles we have are a mixture of being hands on enough to run the office and perform bookkeeping, finance, invoicing, payroll and reporting but also be strategic enough to lift their gaze around what is important to focus on, generate and interpret effective reporting and provide useful information to aid in fast decision making processes.
 
Key Responsibilities generally include:

• Bookkeeping.
• Business performance analysis and cashflow reporting.
• Payroll.
• Accounts Receivable and Payable.
• Preparation of budgets and KPIs.
• Provision of full year forecasts on a periodic basis.
• Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the daily accounting function and systems.
• Management of month end close and reconciliation process.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and management of the overall cash and working capital position.
• Accurately prepare the annual financial statements and tax returns for external accountants. 

About the potential successful candidate:

• Prior experience as a Finance Manager/Controller (responsible for finance areas) or senior bookkeeper equivalent role with broader responsibilities.
• Highly proficient with systems and reporting.
• Competent and confident with payroll, accounts payable and receivable.
• Strength in developing meaningful, friendly to read management reports highlighting key trends.
• Able to work to deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player prepared to help out in any area.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, be highly self-motivated and able to multi task.
