Business Development Executive – East London Venue

Salary: Up to £32,000 DOE
A dynamic East London cocktail bar and live music venue is looking for a Business Development Executive to drive sales and secure new business opportunities. This is an exciting role for a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for hospitality and events.

The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and maximising venue bookings. They will work across corporate, private, and hospitality sectors to grow revenue and establish the venue as a go-to destination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively seek out new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Manage inbound enquiries, convert leads into bookings, and negotiate contracts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to drive repeat business.
• Attend networking events, industry functions, and client meetings to promote the venue.
• Collaborate with marketing and events teams to create targeted sales campaigns.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to shape sales strategy.
• Track and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are met.

• At least one year of experience in hospitality, events, or a similar sales-focused role.
• A confident communicator who excels at building and maintaining client relationships.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with OpenTable and Collins is preferred.
• Passion for London’s hospitality scene and an understanding of what makes a venue successful.
