About the role:
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with GIS expertise to design, develop, and maintain websites that integrate geospatial data and mapping solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in WordPress development, theme and plugin customization, and GIS tools such as Google Maps API.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Integrate GIS tools, APIs, and spatial data visualization into WordPress websites.
• Optimize website performance, security, and user experience.
• Manage WordPress databases and ensure site reliability.
• Work with RESTful APIs, map services, and geospatial data layers.
• Develop interactive maps and location-based services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS and WordPress.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure seamless integration.

• Proficiency in WordPress development, including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with GIS tools
• Knowledge of geospatial database
• Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and web accessibility.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Experience with headless WordPress development
• Background in geospatial analysis or remote sensing.
• Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms.
• Knowledge of web hosting, server management, and WordPress security best practices
