About the role
We are a growing fire sprinkler contractor specializing in the design and installation of fire protection systems for a variety of building types, including residential towers, hospitals, and small-scale projects. With a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, we handle projects of all sizes, from 5 to 50-story buildings, and pride ourselves on rapid turnaround times. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Estimator to join our team remotely. Duties and responsibilities

• Takeoffs & Estimating:
  • Perform detailed takeoffs from architectural drawings for fire sprinkler system installations.
  • Analyze and interpret architectural prints and floor plans to identify sprinkler system requirements for various building types.
  • Prepare accurate material lists, labor estimates, and cost breakdowns.
  • Utilize estimating software (OnCenter, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, PlanSwift) to generate precise fire sprinkler takeoffs and system specifications.
• System Design Review:
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure fire sprinkler systems comply with applicable codes (NFPA 13, 13R, 13D).
  • Review architectural and structural layouts to confirm system compatibility.
• Compliance & Standards:
  • Ensure all estimates align with local, state, and national fire protection codes (NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, NFPA 13D).
  • Advise on material selection, system configuration, and installation techniques based on best practices and code requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and estimates for clients.
  • Maintain organized documentation of estimates, revisions, and communications.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and the operations team to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and requirements.

• Essential:
  • Proven experience in fire sprinkler estimating or takeoffs, ideally in commercial or residential fire sprinkler systems.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings and floor plans.
  • Proficient in estimating software: OnCenter, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of fire protection systems and NFPA standards (13, 13R, 13D).
  • Solid understanding of fire sprinkler design and system components.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant fire protection codes and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET/New Jersey time (1-hour unpaid lunch break) | 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM MNL
