About the role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Parabroker to join our team. In this role, you will provide crucial support to our Lending Managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient loan application process for our clients. This position involves a high degree of client interaction, meticulous document handling, and a solid understanding of commercial lending products, particularly for trusts, self-employed individuals, and generalcommercial businesses. Key Responsibilities: ● Lending Manager Support: Assist Lending Managers throughout the loan process, allowing them to focus on client relationships and deal structuring. ● Document Gathering and Review: Collect, verify, and review all necessary documentation required for loan applications (financial statements, tax returns, business plans, etc.). ● Client Follow-Up: Proactively communicate with clients to request missing documentation and provide clear instructions for timely submission. ● Loan Submission: Prepare and submit complete loan applications to lenders, ensuring adherence to their requirements and deadlines. ● Servicing Calculations: Use servicing calculators and financial tools to assess clients' borrowing capacity and loan suitability. ● Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of commercial lending products, especially for trusts, self-employed individuals, and commercial businesses. ● CRM Management: Keep accurate client information and loan progress updated in the company’s CRM system. ● Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to lending. ● Communication: Keep clients, lenders, and internal stakeholders updated on loan progress and resolve any issues that arise during the process. ● Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address any roadblocks that could delay the loan process.
Qualifications & Experience (Must Have): ● Proven experience in a similar role in the financial services industry, preferably within commercial lending. ● Strong understanding of commercial lending products, especially in relation to trusts, self-employed individuals, and general businesses. ● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle complex documents. ● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. ● Experience using Zoho and AI tools. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
