About the role The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience working in an Australian tax firm and a strong background in preparing Company, Sole Trader, and Individual Tax Returns. Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential, and experience with Division 7A loans, trust distributions, unpaid personnel entitlements, and bucket companies is highly desirable.
Primary Tasks ● Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns for companies, sole traders, and individuals, ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws. ● IReturn Preparation: Utilise your experience to efficiently prepare and lodge IReturns with accuracy. ● Xero Proficiency: Manage bookkeeping and tax-related tasks using Xero accounting software, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications (Must Have) ● CPA or CA qualification. ● A minimum of three years of experience working in an Australian tax firm. ● Strong experience in preparing Company, Sole Trader, and Individual Tax Returns. ● High proficiency in Xero accounting software.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) ● Experience with FYI document management software. ● Previous experience in a remote accounting role. ● Solid understanding of Division 7A loans, trust distributions, and bucket companies. ● Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
