About the role
We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers. Full-time and part-time roles available.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations for multiple companies.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations for debtor and creditor accounts.
• Prepare financial statements up to the trial balance stage.
• Assist in preparing financial statements for lodgment with the Australian Taxation Office and Business Activity Statements.

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in bookkeeping or accounting with an Australian client
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
• Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
