We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of high-value Commercial, Strata and Heritage insurance projects. This is a senior leadership position offering autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to play a key role in driving project performance, client satisfaction, and business growth.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of major insurance restoration and repair projects, ensuring quality, profitability, safety, and exceptional client outcomes.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will manage complex construction projects, mentor project teams, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of major and complex insurance repair projects
- Manage project budgets, programs, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Review project performance and prepare operational reports
- Resolve technical and client escalations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trades and key stakeholders
- Mentor, coach and support Project Managers and Supervisors
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards and WHS requirements
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- QBCC Supervisors License or equivalent (MUST HAVE)
- Extensive experience managing insurance repair or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial, strata and heritage construction
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects from inception through to completion
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management capability
- Thorough understanding of Australian Building Codes and Standards
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications and engineering drawings
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams
- Construction Management qualification or equivalent industry experience
