The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Estimator/Supervisor to step into a leadership role with a well-regarded construction company specialising in insurance repairs and property restoration. This is your chance to guide a high-performing team, mentor trades, and play a key role in delivering quality outcomes for clients across Perth.

The Role

As a Senior Estimator/Supervisor, you’ll combine technical expertise with leadership responsibilities. You’ll oversee insurance repair projects from assessment to completion, while coaching and supporting your team to achieve targets and uphold high standards of workmanship.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring, and training staff to build capability and performance
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and probation reviews of new team members
• Conducting site inspections, preparing accurate scopes of work and costings
• Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and trades across multiple projects
• Monitoring job progress, resolving issues, and ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes
• Maintaining strong communication with managers, clients, and insurers
• Ensuring compliance with building codes, OH&S legislation, and environmental standards
• Upholding a positive team culture and delivering first-class customer service

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role within construction
• Trade qualifications (carpentry preferred) and/or Certificate IV in Building & Construction (desirable)
• Proven estimating skills and the ability to scope and cost works accurately
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Previous experience in insurance building (highly regarded)
• Solid knowledge of building codes, OH&S, and industry standards
• High-level organisational, time management, and communication skills
• Competence in using mobile technology for reporting and work allocation
• A current driver’s licence and white card
