The Company

Join a reputable and well-established construction company that specialises in insurance repairs and strata work. With long-standing relationships with Australia’s major insurance companies and loss assessors, the business continues to grow. Due to increased demand, they are now seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their high-performing team in the Wide Bay Region.

The Role

As a Site Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in managing and coordinating building reinstatement projects from start to finish. You'll be responsible for overseeing trades, ensuring works are completed to a high standard, and maintaining strong communication between all stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating insurance building repair works
• Engaging, scheduling, and managing trades during the restoration process
• Monitoring project progress and addressing any site issues or delays
• Liaising with insurance companies, loss assessors, and insured parties
• Organising property access and ensuring client satisfaction
• Ensuring works comply with OH&S regulations and relevant legislation
• Managing job documentation, including inspections and final sign-offs from the building surveyor
• Ensuring quality control and timely project delivery

The Candidate

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervising role within the building or construction industry
• Previous experience in insurance building (highly desirable)
• Trade qualifications in building (carpentry preferred) or a related discipline
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Sound knowledge of OH&S legislation and industry best practices
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Confidence in coordinating and negotiating with trades
• A current and valid driver’s license
