The Jolly Miller and sister company FIG - Food Innovation Group are on the hunt for an experience and strategic procurement manager. In a newly developed role the procurement manager will set company purchasing strategy and drive ongoing process improvement initiatives. 

Reporting to company directors the procurement manager will be motivated, automously and confident drawing on your previous experience and connections. 

The Procurement Manager is responsible for:

• Leading the end-to-end procurement process, which includes but is not limited to developing procurement strategies, supplier development, cost analysis, supplier relationship management and cost analysis
• Undertaking all cost planning and management activities on projects and tenders
• Ensuring procurement of all required subcontractors, materials and products can be achieved within the appropriate timeframes, budget and contract compliance
• Responsible for implementing price, service and payment terms with suppliers
• Making informed decisions based on total supply chain impact and tailored to category segment
• Maintaining and manage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and periodically report on key metrics including but not limited to forecasting stock needs and costs along with ordering needs

You will...

• Have a minimum 3 years experience in a similar procurement role 
• Have a vast understanding of the food industry and be a true foodie at heart 
• Hold relevant tertiary degree in supply chain / procurement or other relevant field
• Be adaptive, accepts new ideas and change initiatives
• Works in a systematic, methodical, and orderly way
• Communicate clearly, expresses options and confidently makes education decision. 

The role is available for immediate start, however can be flexible for the right person. Based on site out our Sunshine West head office reporting to company directors the successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running.
